I’m am 18 yrs old 6′ 165 pounds. I have just started training judo, Bjj, kickboxing and I need a diet, not so much as to loose weight but to be healthy. A good day by day plan. Also I’m not taking any supplements but I know I would help. I’m only in taining for about 1.5 hrs a few days a week. Any help would be great. Thanks
Breakfast:
All the fruit that you can eat to get comfortably full. One fruit (mono-fruit) is best but not necessary.
In the morning, our bodies are still in elimination mode/phase and anything else eaten besides fruits (or light veggies) would hinder this natural process.
Lunch:
Large salad with a variety of greens, and other veggies of choice. Raw nuts and seeds, sprouts or fruit may be added. Use homemade dressings made from fruits, veggies and good oils. I have a ton of recipes that I collected and many are much more superb compared to the usual store-bought dressings!
Dinner:
Large salad again. Have a baked potato, basmati rice, pasta like quinoa, rice or spelt OR a very small piece (3 oz.) of organic meat of choice. And, lightly steamed vegetable.
Snacks:
Fruit, fruit and more fruit! Raw nuts and seeds. And, veggie stix with a good wholesome homemade dip
Supplements:
A wholefood supplement only! My fav is Ocean’s Alive marine phytoplankton! Has everything a body needs and it’s unprocessed and wild-crafted.
Avoid:
Canned foods - basically "dead" food - no nutritive value left!
Processed foods - loaded with toxins as in chemical additives, no nutritive value.
Non-organic meats (if you gotta eat meat) - It would take me a page to explain this one! ; )
Dairy products - UGH! We are not meant to eat another mammals milk!
White sugar, artificial sweeteners and white flour - these will kill ya!
Microwave - Throw this out the window! Or use it as a storage compartment for your non-perishables!
Remember: The more raw vegan organic food you eat, the more healthy you will become. And, you’ll be ready to take on the world!
